AQUA SPLASH-N-TALES
Delhi Public School Vapi, hosted a delightful event for mothers and toddlers of class Pre-nursery on July 13, 2024, featuring a range of aqua-themed activities. The event aimed to foster bonding between mothers and their young children while engaging them in amusing and instructive activities. The event commenced with the Principal addressing the charming audience, highlighting the need and importance for freedom, time, space, opportunities, exposure, and behavioral training in the early years of a child’s development. The pre-primary section was transformed into an enchanting underwater world designed to stimulate the children's imaginations, enhance their learning, and provide an immersive experience. The range of activities planned involved relatable marine characters. The activities aim at fostering and promoting the development of tactile sense, vestibular sense, proprioceptive sense, gross and fine motor skills, and socio-emotional skills. The jack of the event was the ‘Bingo’ which was executed through puppetry, pepped up students with energies needed for the other activities. The exchange of touch and warmth was beautifully witnessed when the mothers and toddlers danced to the splashing musical beats adding happy memories to the treasure chest of life.
The mothers highlighted the joy of spending quality time with their children in a creative and stimulating environment. Overall, the event was an incredible example of how themed activities can bring families together and create an enriching experience for young children.
